Utoo Al-Kitab and Variations in Ch 2

1 – 2:53

The personality *musa* is given al-kitab, referring here to preferentiality over the worlds and deliverance from oppression

2 -2:87

Once again *musa* is mentioned, this time given the system of 2/83-85. Upon being given it, messengers are sent and clarifications given to the *3isa* personality
3 – 2:101

In this context, ‘alladhina ootul kitab’ refers the confirmations given by the messenger from the nearness of Allah.

4 – 2:121

This refers to those who are given the direct guidance, huda Allah, mentioned in 2/120 and thus not be of the personalities , yahood and nasara.
5 – 2:144

This refers to those who are given the system of masjid al-haram and recognise it to be the truth (possibly due to its effectiveness)
6 -2:145

Although they recognise it, due to their passivity (utoo), bringing them signs won’t help them follow the qiblah.

7- 2:146

this refers to the same people as the 2 entries immediately above, reminding us that they will recognise the truth of this.
